The Highway Police Permit Office will be closed from 1630 hours on Tuesday December 23, 2025, until 0600 hours on Friday, December 26,2025, for the Christmas Holiday. Permit loads that exceed any legal dimension(height, length, width, and/or front overhang) may not move from sundown on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, until sunrise on Friday, December 26, 2025. If you are looking for an IRP trip permit (72 hour), please go to: mydmv.arkansas.gov or www.dfa.arkansas.gov/service/mydmv/ OS/OW Permit Information - AHPPERMIT@ARDOT.GOV Carriers that have received permits with our state and would like access to on-line, call our office at 501-569-2381 and choose option 3. Carriers that have NEVER received permits with our state, can select 'Register if you do not have an account' to add your company and set up a username. Permit Services: When adding a carrier, you will need to put the carrier's information including their email address. These will be denied if using your email on the carrier profile. If you submitted an application but cannot find it in My Queue, please go to My Reports/Trip Request Status Report to search for your application number. If the Permit Office or Bridge Engineer is reviewing your application, it will not show up in My Queue.
